Rules and announcements thread
1. Do not break any global rules - nothing illegal, nothing that would get the board deleted/reassigned, etc. Basically, keep the relationship with global moderators a positive one
2. Try to keep your posts content-rich. Try to include a webm with every post, and if you can't then please add constructive criticism or some other value to the thread. If you're filling threads with one-word replies with no attached file, or creating threads with the intent to slide, you're doing it wrong and may receive a ban.
3. Know when to make a new thread. If a new topic comes up in a thread and it makes the original discussion more difficult to follow, please make a new thread such that both topics can be explored without getting in each other's way.
4. Do not post with the sole intent of driving away users with content-rich posts, or people who lurk to save and redistribute content. This is an extension of rules #2 and #3. This doesn't necessarily mean all content must be safe-for-work, but it does mean that not-safe-for-life or extremely disturbing content should at least be put in a separate thread, and definitely not used as a weapon against people or behavior you don't like.
I intend this board to be a place to share, discuss, and create content, to the greatest extent possible. If a post or someone's behavior degrades all three of those goals, then that clearly deserves moderation and pruning. If someone is critically degrading one or two of those goals in service of a third, then I reserve the right to use my own discretion, although I'll try to remain informed of the community's general stance and case-by-case thoughts.
For the time being, this will be a slow board used for warehousing your favorite content, and low-content posts won't be a problem due to the large number of pages and large bump limit, but please try to make this a good place to share and create in for the future
