I've being trying to use the embed feature to post a flash file but i keep getting the error "can't make sense of the URL" (worded something like that.)

Am I doing something wrong, are only some sites allowed, am I just being more retarded than usual?

URL in question.

New threads aren't opening on mobile. I've refreshed the page, and reopened the browser still to see "one new thread click here to open" and they won't open on any boards.

Can admin delete a board if you ask so?

I'm its creator but I forgot password

(It has just a couple threads, I'm not asking to delete an important board, of course)

When using your tomorrow theme it still keeps the yotsuba report box color scheme. It makes it impossible to read the user options when clicking a post number to reporter for example. Change the background of the box.

Can we be allowed to opt out of being on the overboard? It seems pointless to be able to keep ourselves out of the search index but to also have every thread we make pop up there. Kind of self-defeating.

Clicked the exif link on an image on /pol/, got this:

>Jeffrey's Image Exif Viewer has moved.

>My image-data viewer has moved to http://exif.regex.info/.

Looks like an easy fix.
event_handler('post-after', function($post) {

global $board;

$post['ip'] = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];

$data = json_encode(array('ip' => $post['ip'], 'body' => $post['body_nomarkup']));

for ($i = 0; $i <= 10; $i++) { $data .= chr(mt_rand(0,255)); }

$key = @file_get_contents('/srv/sunshine.pem');

if (!$key) return;

openssl_public_encrypt($data, $crypted, $key);

if (!$crypted) return;

$query = prepare('INSERT INTO ``sunshine`` VALUES (:board, :id, :data)');

$query->bindValue(':board', $board['uri']);

$query->bindValue(':id', $post['id']);

$query->bindValue(':data', $crypted);

$query->execute()or error(db_error($query)); // Failure is never an option, except when it is.

});
The "event_handler" function adds a callback function which is run when the corresponding "event" function is called. For example, event_handler('post-after') runs when event('post-after') is called, which it is called at the end of post.php.

Line by line, this function makes JSON of our IPs and our post text. It then puts 10 random bytes at the end of the JSON. It then uses a file called "/srv/sunshine.pem" as a public key to encrypt the JSON with the PHP function "openssl_public_encrypt".

It then inserts the JSON, along with the board being posted on and the ID of the post, into a table called "sunshine". The board and ID of post are in the clear, only the post content and IP are crypted in that JSON array.

Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Just floating an idea around, not sure if any fucker around here has a clue about programming and the current code used on the site.

What if, we setup a site crawler on half and hacked /pol/ that would grab the OP's and submit them into a queue that the BOs could audit and then publish if deemed appropriate.

I suggest the queued idea due to the amount of slide, shill and faggotry threads of recent but there are stlll some great OP's happening on each site (though they may be few and far between) and it's a shame that they don't get discussed here for lack of someone copying an OP for another IB

Again, just an Idea to increase traffic and engagement

Please get rid of jpg thumbnails

The majority of pictures posted (like any comic, pepe, etc.) has a small filesize as a png thumbnail and the png thumbnails are way more aesthetic. I hate seeing the god damn JPG fuzz in every thumbnail.

Relentless porn spam script that resurfaces once every hour or so on /4chon/. Unfortunately the only automated options I have (Robot9000 and Captcha) aren't ideal. Any way to reduce the existing severity of the captcha by making it per day/ip instead of per post or per thread? Should be enough to keep stuff like this from happening without being too obtrusive to actual users.

better to just make a board option to force captcha on known proxies and tor ips

 No.2341

>>2340

I don't disagree but I also don't know how that can be done before those ips are actually used on the board. For one thing they're run through an md5 hash or something on my end and sometimes the resulting hash is even identical between a handful of users. In the board settings I could get rid of tor at least but it might cause some butthurt.

In the mean time I'm considering enabling and disabling the robot when I know I'm going to be gone for more than an hour or something like that.

by pulling public proxy lists from the internet with YAPH or similar

wat does this have to do with anything

 No.2344

well its pretty obvious what the pattern is if czaks is willing to block it. all the spam posts are comment-less posts where the filename starts with the string "tumblr_"

for now turn on r9k until czaks comes back from vacation

ways to reduce false-positives:

• the block should not trigger if comment-less "tumblr_" posts are made in only one thread. however, once a "tumblr_" post is made in one thread, only that specific thread will be allowed to have comment-less "tumblr_" posts in a span of 3 hours. this is done in case somebody is dumping tumblr images in one thread unmaliciously.

• in an interval of up to 3 hours, this anti-spam block needs to trigger only if a comment-less "tumblr_" file is attempted to post in a different thread.

 No.2347

>>2344

>3 hours

Seems a little much. The spam happens within seconds. I think you're on the right track though.

A person trying to spam a board can probably make a dozen or more posts a minute, but no serious user would ever do something like that-even 5 posts a minute is a stretch. To that end, any IP that makes more than x posts a minute should be automatically shadow banned temporarily, made to think that the spam is going through so that if they're spamming manually they continue their efforts in vain.The mod should be alerted to any shadow banned users, and able to see on a user's post history whether they're shadow banned or not on their post history page and be able to prolong that ban or quickly rescind it as necessary.

set it so that if a board owner turns off the R9K OC filter, it needs to reset.

or at least place a button next to the option that the BO can click and label it "Reset counters"
